Hotel Comments: Clean but shower was terrible, no pressure or hot water. Internet is free but had to reconnect all the time. Linens on bed need replacing.

Dining Comments: Free Breakfast is good, the coffee is terrible!

Entertainment Comments: One door over :)

Hotel Comments: Internet works fine. no need to accept anything over and over. sign n once. login is country but there is no password.. leave it blank..

Dining Comments: The brazilian steakhouse out to the right has closed it's door and became another "pick your own steak" buffet. it was so bad... our donkey meat on the plane is thicker then these cuts of meat. I would rather eat at Walmart than this place in the holiday inn..

Entertainment Comments: Do not go to the strip club... ever!

Hotel Comments: Decent Hotel. Beds firm, but I like that, so it's pleasant. Clean, too. Business center down to only one computer and no printer. Internet kinda slow on it, too. Free wireless in room, worked well.

Dining Comments: Free breakfast at the restaurant next door, and it's quite good: hot migas, eggs, beans + cold stuff, like cereal, fruit and a variety of juices. We followed the directions below to the noname Mexican restaurant left-left-right, and it is really good. Prices were U.S. standard (probably helps, if you speak Spanish). Next time, I'll try the place across the street. Gym totally basic. Only a few cardio machines, and those are in so-so condition.

Entertainment Comments: There's a bar on the street directly behind the hotel. Big pool area.

Hotel Comments: Typical Mexican hotel rooms. Hard bed and flimsy pillows. Other than that it's a pretty decent hotel. Oh, and they didn't give me my wake up call.

Dining Comments: If you're willing to go adventure into the back streets behind the hotel, there's a great place to get some real food about 10 minutes away. Make a left as you come out of the hotel, and another left at the gas station. Walk through the parking lot to the street behind the hotel and then hang a right. There's a good outdoor type place on the corner. If you hang a left at that corner and go one block, there's another great place across the street. Saw a bunch of locals here, we we decided to go. $15.00 bought dinner for 3, 3 cokes and a beer- and we couldn't even finish the food!!

Entertainment Comments: Go down town and check out the churches. Pretty interesting architecture. The locals down town aren't the friendliest bunch though.

Hotel Comments: The hotel is o.k., nothing special. Internet is pretty fast, didn't have any problems with it. The fitness center sucks, the only thing you can do is run. There is a pool and a hot tub indoors.

Dining Comments: Hotel restaurant, KFC, Pizza Hut, Burger King and a Brazilian Steak house. We went to the Brazilian Steak House and it wasn't anything special. You pay 200 pesos for all you can eat, including dessert. To get to the steak house you just need to make a right turn when you get out of the hotel and it's a 5 to 10 minute walk. It's located inside the Holiday Inn Select.

Entertainment Comments: There is a mall within walking distance(10-15 minutes). Just make a right when getting out of the hotel and cross the street. The mall will be on your left hand side. And like every mall, there is a food court. There is also a movie theater but all the movies are in Spanish and like 2 months old.

Hotel Comments: In the elevator, the 2 button gets you to the 3rd floor, 3 to the 4th, and so on.

Dining Comments: Actually tons of food choices, but I agree that you should walk to the Holiday Inn for the Brazilian food there. You will not be hungry when you leave.

Entertainment Comments: Walmart.

Hotel Comments: Free Internet sucks more than usual here. Nameserver or other shenanigans redirect you to a login verifier that then redirects you back to the desired url. I can almost tolerate the stupid OK and I AGREE buttons that most hotels enforce because they only do it once. Here it's every 10 minutes.

Hotel Comments: Hotel is pretty good overall. They will give you a coupon for a free drink at the bar. We left too early in the morning to inquire about the breakfast, whether they offer it to crew members or not anymore. There's a business center, indoor pool with hot tub, and a fitness center. Free wireless that works not too bad. The rooms are not bad, relatively new, but the beds are typical Mexican, pretty firm. The bathrooms are better than most, with marble tiles, etc. The tv stations are all in Spanish, no English channels at all.

Dining Comments: There's some fast food like KFC, Pizza Hut and McDonald's across the road and there's a place at the Wal-Mart as well. The front desk sent us to a local restaurant about 15 minutes away (can't think of the name) but it was excellent, buffet style and good home-made food. There's also a gas station and a small store near the hotel.

Entertainment Comments: Not a whole lot. There's a Wal-Mart across the street.

Hotel Comments: Standard Mexican room. Not one English channel on TV.

Dining Comments: There is an awesome Brazilian steak joint in the Holiday-Inn. Take a right out of hotel and about 1/2 mile down "sidewalk". It's the kind of restaurant that they keep bringing you steak or other grilled meats on a giant skewer until you have enough. (all you can eat) salad bar too...$20

Entertainment Comments: Super Walmart next door.
October 6, 2007
Hotel Comments: OK hotel. They will give you a coupon for breakfast, but I think you can trade it for a drink if you don't want breakfast. Business center with 3 computers.

Dining Comments: Puebla Bonita is a good restaurant and is a 15-20 minute walk. Go left out the hotel over the freeway via the pedestrian bridge, and continue left along feeder road. They have English menus. I have also heard there is another good restaurant right out the hotel, a short cab ride away.

Entertainment Comments: Walmart across street. Entertainment next door.

Hotel Comments: nice hotel. wireless is horribly spotty. i went as faras sitting right next to the router. still no luck. wired is free.

Dining Comments: don't know

Entertainment Comments: don't know.
March 19, 2007
Hotel Comments: Internet is now FREE Wireless. If you're into strip clubs, don't go to the one next door, ask the cab driver to take you to "Sofistique"...costs about 20 pesos or less for the cab ride.

Dining Comments: Several. Pueblo Bonito is good.

Entertainment Comments: Watch the girls on the poles.
December 7, 2006
Hotel Comments: There is wireless in the hotel now. The staff admits that it is spotty.

Dining Comments: If you feel like eating fast food then there is KFC, Pizza Hut and Mc D's across the road by the Wal-Mart. A left out of the hotel and about 1/4 mi there is a pretty good steak joint.

Entertainment Comments: Wal mart is across the road and if you make a right out of the hotel and across the road there is a small mall with a movie theater.
August 2, 2005
Hotel Comments: Nice new hotel with a pool, jacuzzi and business center with 3 computers and high speed internet.

Dining Comments: Good hotel restaurant, numerous restaurants across the road including Pizza Hut and Taco Bell. The highway crossover is about 1/4 mile away.

Entertainment Comments: There is a large Wal-Mart Supercenter type of store across the road .
