Hotel Comments: Nice clean hotel exactly as described below. Nice beds. Sitting room w/ 2 TVs. Fridge and microwave in room. Definitely an improvement over the old La Quinta.

Dining Comments: Nothing in short walking distance from hotel. Lots of food about a 1/2 mile walk down the road. Ryan's Steakhouse, Chinese Buffet, Whataburger, Jack in the Box, Subway, HEB, etc... There is no transportation at this hotel. The van driver did offer to take us somewhere for $10 bucks if you are unablt to walk.

Entertainment Comments: Watch TV, 2 computers in their business center, sleep... not much. This town is snoozeville.

Hotel Comments: I never stayed at the La Quinta but this hotel is pretty nice.... my room had a sitting area with a huge tv and separate bedroom area with another tv. Rooms are clean. Free continental breakfast in the morning from 6-9am. Nothing withing walking distance but the shuttle that picks us up from the airport will come and get you if you have a longer overnight and take you to wherever for ten bucks round trip.

Dining Comments: Rosas Mexican, lots of fast food about a half a mile away, texas roadhouse (all sit down restaurants not within walking distance-- have to anty up the ten bucks if you dont want fast food)

Entertainment Comments: The hotel does have a pool.... internet.... drink.....

Entertainment Comments: Actually every day, except Monday I think, there is a FREE POKER TOURNAMENT at a place called "the world's greatest sports bar" or something like that. Sorry that's all the info I have right now.

Hotel Comments: Hotel's nice because rooms have a mini-fridge and a microwave, and the cable is good. Not a fun overnight at all though if you're the type that likes to go out.

Dining Comments: Holiday Inn next to the Fairfield, THAT'S IT!

Entertainment Comments: Absolutely nothing (watch TV).
