Hotel Comments: I agree the hotel itself is not the greatest in the system, but the location is very good. places to eat and things to do. Hotel has deal with gym one block away for free. A little old, but plenty of weights and good cardio.

Dining Comments: Lots

Entertainment Comments: Hit the free gym, jog by the river. NOT a place to stay in your room.

Hotel Comments: Make sure you don't get a room on the second floor with access to your window from roof area. NOT SAFE!!! Hotel very basic, could be cleaner.

Dining Comments: A few local places, Outback, mall, etc.

Entertainment Comments: Walk around and wait to leave.

Hotel Comments: Nice location right down town with lots of things to do. Free WiFi in the lobby. There was cable internet in the rooms but it did not work in the room I was in. Waited 15 minutes for an elevator today. There are three elevators but none of them work so if you have a van time you need to meet leave your room really early. I mentioned this problem at the desk and them just said "we know". Doubt they'll ever fix it. Otherwise it's a lot like the Holiday Inn in EWR.

Dining Comments: Hotel Restaurant and about a 100 other places. I went to a diner that was smoke free and cheap and really good. They told me about this place at the hotel desk.

Entertainment Comments: Walk around down town or on the river. Lots of bars, bookstores and coffee shops.

Hotel Comments: Reliable Holiday Inn product. Beds are normal, no-frills type.

Dining Comments: Take a right out of the hotel, one block. Then walk away from the river two blocks. Chilis, Outback, two fancier restaurants attached to a large mall with a food court on the third floor.

Entertainment Comments: Walk along the river front, or go walk the mall. From previous experience, I believe there are lively night spots on the weekends as well.
