Hotel Comments: Quiet, clean rooms, great beds. Workout room is very good and fully equipped located in the lower level open 24/7. Be careful walking around at night north of Pratt, ok most places during the day.

Dining Comments: The best Mexican fast food is one block west on Pratt, next to Subway. Jimmie John's is across the street from those two.

Entertainment Comments: Convention Center across the street. Shopping is 6 blocks west on Pratt at the Galleria. Drinks at Pickles, and Sliders is 2 blocks east or go 2 blocks west to Pratt Street Ale House and Nest. Party time at the many bars at Pratt and Market streets like Howl at the Moon and Live, plus a 7Eleven, Barnes & Noble, Cheesecake Factory, Hard Rock Cafe nearby there are 8 blocks west on Pratt. Numerous tours...Aquarium, Coast Guard vessel, Submarine, and vintage battle ship. 2 blocks west is the north/south light rail convention center stop, $1.60 one way pass. Historic district is north on St Charles. Little Italy is west on Pratt about 9 blocks and 1 block south for great Italian eateries.

Hotel Comments: Hotel is really nice, esp for holiday inn. Location is right next to the stadium in Camden yard.

Dining Comments: Don't know about BWI, but the food court downstairs in union station is excellent. A big plate of Indian food for $7.00 or a Greek wrap for $8.00.

Entertainment Comments: Take the Marc train to dc. Map at: http://www.mtamaryland.com/services/marc/schedulesSystemMaps/marcTrainSystemMap.cfm Either the Penn or Camden lines will get you there for $7.00 each way. The Camden line leaves from right behind the hotel, but only runs weekdays and early in the am (till 8:15). The Penn line leaves from Penn station, a short ride up the light rail northbound ($1.60). The last Camden line train leaves union station in dc at 7:35 pm, getting you back to the hotel at 8:50. Union station is right on the Washington Mall. Go check out the museums, white house, etc.

Hotel Comments: The only good thing I experienced at this hotel was the location. Everything else was bad. The people at the desk were not helpful, they screwed up several of our door cards so we had to walk all the way back down and get them re-keyed upon checking in, the water in the shower is backwards so don't wait for it to warm up like I did, just turn it to cold and it will become hot. The air conditioner in my room was incredibly squeaky so I turned it off. The internet was totally unacceptable; it did not work. You can get a better intermittent signal from the Days Inn which you might see out your room's window a block away. Then go down to the "business center in the lobby" as the Holiday Inn advertises and you'll see that it is a single computer next to the main entrance and there are numerous placards that say "THIS COMPUTER IS FOR PRINTING BOARDING PASSES ONLY." All normal websites are blocked. So, there really isn't a business center at all. Our transportation, not run by the hotel, took almost an hour to pick us up after we called them four times trying to coordinate what van was going to arrive at what time. They knew we were due in and they just did not care.

Dining Comments: Inner harbor has a bunch. If there's an Orioles home game, there are lots of outdoor beer gardens and stuff setup outside the pubs and bars that are there to begin with.

Entertainment Comments: LOTS of great stuff at the harbor. Camden Yards is one block away so enjoy an Orioles game if there is one. Baltimore Aquarium is good, museums, Babe Ruth House, etc.

Hotel Comments: The hotel is pretty basic and clean. It's ok.

Dining Comments: If you're up for a mile walk, go to The Dog Pub (20 E Cross Street, 21230). If you're walking, be careful to avoid the ghetto area immediately east of M & T Bank Stadium. If you don't want to walk, look up MTA Maryland's bus route 1. They have good cheap beer and good pizza. The beers are served in 10-oz. mugs at $3.50 for a pair. The servers are cool. Three of us had three pizzas and 16 beers and the bill was under $50, since we weren't charged for all the beers we were served. Any dogs you see there will most likely be four-legged. There's a few good bars in that area (Cross Street, Federal Hill) if you want to bar hop too.

Entertainment Comments: Drink beer.

Hotel Comments: Pretty good. Rooms are in the second tower, you have to cross the parking lot to get to it.

Dining Comments: Hotel resturant isn't bad, and theres a cofee shop/deli in the lobby as well. I'd take a 20 min walk and go to Moe's Seafood to get crabcakes. Reasonable prices and good seafood.

Entertainment Comments: Eat crabcakes.

Hotel Comments: Average Holiday Inn but very nice people.

Dining Comments: You name it and it is within walking distance. TONS of choices.

Entertainment Comments: Camden Yards is out the back door. Aquarium and tons of others right on the harbor. Awesome location.
