Hotel Comments: Nice rooms, fridge/microwave and free hot breakfast. when you check in they give you a free beer or wine and some ice cream which is cool. Nice staff.

Dining Comments: There is a VERY good restaurant only open for Breakfast and Lunch about a block down the road called the "Front Porch". We had the owner on our plane and decided to give it a try, it was excellent. And good prices too. Better selection than just going to Ruby Tuesdays. But, if you get in late, Ruby Tuesdays has 2 for 1 beers after 9pm.

Entertainment Comments: There is no gym at the hotel, but if you bring your key packet with you there is a Methodist church maybe 1/2-3/4 miles away that will let you use their facility for free. Just go down Bayshore until you hit the first stop sign (you'll see some other church right in front of you). Go left at the stop sign and it's on your left side a few hundred yards. Free weights, full weight stack set up, quite a few cardio machines, all in all a good gym.

Hotel Comments: This is really a nice hotel, the rooms are recently redecorated and have a fridge and microwave. Free WiFi (Fast!) and breakfast until 0900 in the morning. Maybe a 10 minute van ride. Overall a very easy overnight, if not thrilling.

Dining Comments: There is a Ruby Tuesday in the parking lot, check out the salad bar and surprisingly good steaks.

Entertainment Comments: There is a river/waterway right behind the hotel, good for a walk. With a long overnight rent a car ($35 for me) and go to the beach.

Hotel Comments: Hotel is decent. Fast Wifi! Good continental breakfast as well!

Dining Comments: Ruby Tuesdays right next door; take a left out of the parking lot and walk down about .25 miles there are a couple of local bars on the right. Sunday nights there is karaoke at the bar next to the Waffle House and free food during the Nascar Races.

Entertainment Comments: Museum on Eglin AFB.

Hotel Comments: Hotel is nice. Don't know what other post was knocking it for. I found it very clean and comfortable. Had cookies and coffee for us when we got in late plus breakfast for us vey early in the morning, well before continentel breakfast was supposed to be out. Has one of the better, faster wifi signals I've gotten at any hotel. Van service was there waiting for us.

Dining Comments: Several restaurants w/i walking distance. Short overnite so we didn't go out to eat.

Entertainment Comments: Short overnite, no time.

Hotel Comments: Holiday Inn Express, free internet. Waited 20 minutes for the hotel van. Hotel itself is marginal, both in comfort and cleanliness.

Dining Comments: Ruby Tuesday next door, a few other quick-service places.

Entertainment Comments: Thankfully a reduced rest overnight, did not go out.
