Dining Comments: Oh that's right...cheap food and booze.
Entertainment Comments: At least you NOW have an excuse NOT to workout. The gym is barely in working order.

Dining Comments: Pine Restaurant and Bar- Good food, huge sandwiches(no discount on them) discount makes other food reasonable for NYC
Entertainment Comments: Across the street from old Shea Stadium, 1964 Worlds Fair location, and tennis center. Subway stop just down the street for getting into Manhattan if you want.

Dining Comments: AWESOME restaurant! HUGE portions. Front desk will put your leftovers in fridge for you. Discount card given when you check in..Sports bar too
Entertainment Comments: The subway to NYC is only about 3 blocks from the hotel if you have a long enough layover. About a 40 minute ride. Park is down the street to walk.

Dining Comments: Restaurant is AWESOME..HUGE portions and the front desk will store your leftovers. Sports bar also and the front desk gives you a discount voucher when you check in.
Entertainment Comments: You can take the subway that is about 3 blocks away to the city if your layover is long enough...about a 40 minute ride.

Dining Comments: There is nothing around the hotel at all to get food. Surprisingly, the bar has great baseball food. To go with it you get 90 decibel music and Live baseball on numerous TVs. Bring your Alka-Seltzer.
Entertainment Comments: The good thing is that there is free disco music in your room 24 hours a day from the bar, the weddings or the street out front. Bring your earplugs if you want to sleep.

Dining Comments: Ate in the bar after a Mets game, so there was a fun boisterous crowd. Hotel gives you discount vouchers, but they didn't honor them for my dinner in the bar. Hear the sandwiches in the restaurant are good.
Entertainment Comments: Citi Park and US Tennis Center directly across the street (over a bridge). Short walk to the subway station which will take you into Manhattan. Rest of neighborhood is housing area surrounding the hotel.

Dining Comments: NOTHING except the hotel restaurant. The food is good when it is good and bad when it is bad. The service is horrible and SLOW. If you intend on eating in the restaurant, leave yourself an extra 45 minutes for slow service. Do not expect water refills or any check backs on you during your meal. Hint: Get it to go.
Entertainment Comments: Watch the mold grow on your shower walls... They do have an indoor pool which is heated.

Entertainment Comments: NOTHING!!

Dining Comments: Restaurant serves extremely large dishes. With a good size side of pasta and a salad with some bread. Could easily split unless you're really hungry.
Entertainment Comments: Fairly short layover, but bar is good for football as t.v.'s are all over.

|
Dining Comments: The restaurant inside the hotel lobby offers these GINORMOUS plates of food for decent prices. Then, airline crew gets a discount on top of that. They give you the coupon when you check in.
Entertainment Comments: I had the short layover, so I don't really know.
