Dining Comments: Across from hotel is a Friendlies and on the other side of the highway is a fantastic Italian restaurant called Juniors and they deliver. For the long overnight, Vermont Pub and Brewery has great food and home brewed beer not too pricey, also Sweet Waters on the corner of Church and College St has great food as well. Also for the late night snack, go to Nectar's on Church St, (Look for the revolving neon sign) gravy fries there are amazing and filling plus they do the trick for the late night cure. They also have live music at night. Also in the Summer time go to Breakwaters which is right by the ferry dock along the lake. Open air restaurant small menu good drink selection but you are outside on the lake. Also NECI (New England Culinary Institute) amazing food not too expensive located on at the top of the block of Church St. 5 spice cafe Corner of Church and Main diagonally across from Nectar's. Sunday Dim Sum brunch is awesome and the regular menu has some excellent dishes. On Tuesdays Manhattan Pizza on the corner of Church and Main has Tuesdays all you can eat Pizza and wings (not sure if they are still doing this)but they have a good selection of local brews.
Entertainment Comments: Ben and Jerry's factory tour in Waterberry VT, (45 car ride) all the Ski resorts driving distance, Church St Marketplace (downtown)and the Magic Hat Brewery in South Burlington (need a car to get there) There is a wide variety of bars on Church St, Red Square (Live music), Akes Place (college age), RiRa's Irish bar, RJ's (College age) Three Needs (been awhile since I was there but use to have Duff Hour $1 beers during the Simpsons starting at 1600) on college St between Church and N. Winooski. Try the local VT beers you will not be disappointed.

Dining Comments: Turn left out of the hotel, under the highway overpass, past the BKs and McDonalds, 10 minute walk. Pizza place called Juunior's: Very, very respectable slices. Pretty good NY style pizza, flavorful toppings, think chewy/crispy crust. One can get two loaded slices, a bottle of San Pellegrino mineral water, and a giant cookie for around $12. Hard to beat and very tasty.
Entertainment Comments: More of a warm weather destination.

Dining Comments: Restaurant next to hotel is just ok and overpriced. Downtown on Church street there are dozens of great restaurants. There is a Friendly's across the street and a convenience store next door for snacks and pizza.
Entertainment Comments: Go downtown to Church street-malls, shops, LOTS of restaurants at all price ranges. Also a Borders and good coffee shop. It's a college town with good scenery.

Dining Comments: Friendly's across the road. No crosswalks. Apparently, some good italian restaurant a half-mile up the road.
Entertainment Comments: Jogging trail about 3/4 mile away. Pretty desolate, though, so know your kung-fu just in case. Bowling alley down the hill. Jacuzzi and indoor swimming pool nice layout. Very cool if you have it to yourself. Workout room has basic cardio stuff.

Dining Comments: I ended up going to the deli by the gas station and got a great and inexpensive made on the spot sandwich for $3.99. They make wraps and pizza's and have all kinds of pastries and about 20 different coffee pots going. I'll go there again and its close. I didn't like trekking across the highway and up the hill to the Friendly's. There are other places, but a bit of a walk to the left of the hotel.
Entertainment Comments: Go downtown and see the sites.
