Hotel Comments: Newly remodeled rooms. Hotel has a modern, chic style to it now. MAC computers in the lobby!!! PCs in the business center. EXTREMELY comfortable beds and pillows. LG LCD TV in room with very little TV channels though -- no HD. Friendly and helpful staff.

Dining Comments: Front desk verified that the 30% food discount has been reinstated as of June 1, 2009.

Entertainment Comments: Not a whole lot around this hotel. We were a few minutes shy of qualifying for the long hotel. But at least it's a decent Hilton.

Hotel Comments: Typical Hilton. Nice rooms, efficient staff, nothing for free, everything overpriced. Hotel is close to the airport, 5-7 min ride max. Had no trouble with space on the van either coming or going to the airport. DO NOT approach the airport van drivers about a ride to anywhere but the airport. You will be looked at like a leper and hustled into taking a cab. I think there must be some sort of racket going on there between the cabbies and the airport drivers. Instead, tell the airport van driver pound sand and find the bell boy who was more than happy to drive me some place and pick me up. Fact: bell boy got a big tip. Airport driver got squat.

Dining Comments: There was plenty around within about a mile. Steak n' Shake, Dennys, Lombardo's (pricey Italian), several fast food joints. Bell boy was more than happy to drive me to the Steak n' Shake. I told him to pick me up an hour later and he was spot on time.

Entertainment Comments: Not enough time to seek out entertainment. Seems like it would really suck if you were here for more than 10-11 hours

Hotel Comments: Typical Hilton, pretty decent hotel/gym.

Dining Comments: Update on the food, we get 0% off. The hotel just showed us the new contract, it says right on the sign in sheet front folder that Expressjet gets no discount on food or internet. One crew member ordered food and was given the 30% off, but it's a brand new contract so I wouldn't expect to get a discount... and there is nothing around the hotel to eat either. so pay extra money for hotel food or buy a Campbells soup in the lobby store.

Hotel Comments: Service in hotel restaurant is slow. but we do get a 30% discount

Dining Comments: Besides the hotel restaurant there's a subway about a 5 min walk away but that's it for food.

Entertainment Comments: None to be had.... it's a hotel close to the airport ... nothing around really.

Hotel Comments: Ask for NEW room on crew sheet, nice overall. If you are unable to leave the Hotel the Buffet is better than I expected and the price is reasonable.

Dining Comments: Hotel Buffet, is better than I expected. I would prefer to leave the hotel and eat some type of international food, if you do eat local the fish and chips are usually a good bet.

Entertainment Comments: Get a London map from the concierge desk and Take the train to Victoria Station. You can buy an all day tube pass for about 6 pounds, most things are expensive, Tower of London 16.5 lbs. eye of London also expensive, I recommend a walking tour of the bridge of London.

Hotel Comments: Wireless free no longer. Now $9.95 for an ethernet connection. Can't connect in the lobby either. Only option is desktops in the lobby.

Hotel Comments: It's close to the airport, but beware in the morning. They allow people to park at the hotel for a fee and get transported to the airport. More than once the van was full before it got to the front of the hotel and we were late for our show time. The last time it happened, the front desk said it was our problem, not theirs. I hope they got this fixed, but I doubt it. If you get a room to the right of the front desk, the heaters don't work well and one morning we had no hot water on that wing. The front desk said they knew it was a recurring problem, but there were no plans to repair it.

Dining Comments: The hotel. 50% off and the food is good. I got a salad that was at least a head of lettuce and a ton of toppings. That's the only saving grace of this place.

Entertainment Comments: Get up early to catch the full van.

Hotel Comments: The 50% off food is great. The internet as of tonight (06/16/06) is free. Just plug in and get on to the internet. It tells you that you'll be charged $9.95 for 24 hours of use. When you check out, just tell the front desk, and they'll remove the charge.

Dining Comments: The hotel.

Hotel Comments: 7 - Only because of short van ride. Van will work with you in the AM for the early shows.

Dining Comments: Not sure. Looks like there is nothing walking distance. Hotel food is GOOD though, and we get 50% off.

Entertainment Comments: Note: High speed internet is NOT FREE in the rooms as posted on this link. I am in the hotel now on dial-up. Internet is 9.95... Hilton SUX!
