Hotel Comments: One of my favorite overnights. Tons of things to do. Nice pool and decent workout gym. Refrig and Microwave available upon request.

Dining Comments: Restaurant across the street..and of course this is home to Whataburger. Joe's Crab Shack and other venues on water.

Entertainment Comments: Take a nice jog or swim in pool. Singer Selana's memorial is nearby

Hotel Comments: Hotel's great but the coffee bar doesn't open till 6am; not helpful for the 0430 airport van.

Dining Comments: Cassidy's is good by reputation however they were closed on the Sunday I was there. I recommend Fire on Water, 2 blocks south at 227 Water St. $7.99 all-you-can-eat bbq and $2 pints is hard to beat! Try the jalapeño sausage.

Hotel Comments: Hotel has wireless with a charge but they automatically waive the charges for the wireless in the rooms.

Hotel Comments: It's clean and comfortable, I had a view of the bay from my room. Decent coffee and there were little creamers to go with it. The bed has a down comforter and feather pillows. The t.v. is on when you walk in, they have a hotel channel. Free internet but you have to fill in your name and room number, the front desk said they'd remove the charge later. Here we go! The lobby bar has a $2 and $3 rule for airline. It was $2 for beer and $3 for mixed drinks. Their well alcohol included Jose Cuervo Gold and Bacardi, kewl. They also have a %20 discount on food from the restaurant.

Dining Comments: I ate out of my suitcase... There are all kinds of places to eat within waking distance but the subway a couple of blocks down is good enough for me.

Entertainment Comments: There are all kinds of things to do within walking distance. We have been staying here for a long time but they didn't always accommodate airline nearly as well as they do now. If you just want to grab a snack or a soda there is a gas station three block up from the hotel. I walked to the battleship a long time ago, it's quite an adventure. The sidewalk on the bridge is very skinny. The cars zoom past on one side and it's a long way down to the water on the other side. I thought it was kinda fun although it's quite a hike. There were quite a few "punks" out last night but I didn't feel threatened or anything, they were just hanging out playing tunes with their car doors opened.

Hotel Comments: Got on the wireless for free. Nice place, comfortable beds. Hotel is across the street from the water.

Entertainment Comments: The Lexington is $11.95 to get on. It looks like you can walk there from the hotel, but DON'T. There is an inlet that separates the two. Ask the concierge where the trolley pick up is. You will need to transfer at the Staples Street station. Be on your guard at this place. Was NOT comfortable. The 2nd trolley will take you over the bridge and drop you off at the Lexington and the C.C. aquarium.
