Hotel Comments: I echo the sentiments of the above. Service at the hotel is generally poor, and sometimes just plain lousy. You can wait a really long time to get your coffee poured as an example. I finally have taken to just getting my own. However, some of the staff do a nice job. The problem is that there is about a 10 to 1 ratio of bad to good. The Hotel is old and tired and they try to keep it up, but it appears that they are losing the battle. Sometimes you get hot water and sometimes you don't. My safe did not work, and I tried to report it to the operator. After the phone rang for 25 minutes, I gave up. Also, not all doors have dead bolts on them, and many of the locks appear loose. The Stairs are very slippery when wet. One of our crew took a tumble narrowly escaping serious injury. BE CAREFUL especially when carrying your bags up or down. Some of our crews are being offered drugs on the beach right outside the hotel, and apparently little drug baggies can be seen blowing around the beach area. Other than that the beach and pool are pretty nice.

Dining Comments: Up the beach past Sandals on the left is a place called The Beach. It is pretty good, staff is friendly (they do work for tips, and the prices are not horrible. I spent about 40 bucks for a fish meal, salad and two beers.

Entertainment Comments: Lay in the sun.

Hotel Comments: This is a low end "resort" and the only things that make it bearable are that in my room the air blew cold and the beach is 50 feet from your room. Please be aware of how the staff treats you, ALL TIPS ARE INCLUDED, so they are not working for tips and they treat you like crap. I had no hot water for my shower at 1300 hrs. Even the van driver had a bad attitude. You can pay $53.00 for the all inclusive package, but unless you are going to use the sunfish, it aint' worth it.

Dining Comments: Breakfast is free at the hotel, but sanitary practices are NOT observed here. I got sick from breakfast on the flight home. Dinner at the hotel is reasonable, but mediocre at best.

Entertainment Comments: Drink and get sunburned.

Hotel Comments: Below average facility next to 5 star Sandals Resort.

Dining Comments: Down the beach but pricey.

Entertainment Comments: Beach, pool and people watch.
