Interview experience:
I applied via the ASA website for a sector supervisor position. About a week later I recieved a call from Mr. Jack Engberg. We arranged a time for an interview. When I arrived at the interview, Jack fumbled his way and kept saying someone else was suppose to be there with him. He was clearly not much of an interviewer. The person he was waiting on never did show up. Mr. Engberg just lept making small talk and was clearly uncomfortable. After all of this, I finally said if there are no other questions, I hope to hear from you soon ??? Well, I never did hear anthing from Mr. Engberg or ASA ! How unprofessional ! I even called Mr. Engberg and left a voice mail !
Mr. Engberg did mention the dispatchers are going thru negotiations for a new contract, "but they are already top of scale, so what do they expect ?" My impression of Atlantic Southeast was not very good considering the experience I had with Mr. Engberg. How unprofessional not to get back to someone who they had a face to face interview with. And furthermore, I would not have taken the job if it had been offered !
