Interview experience:
I interviewed with Julie McEntee and Jeremy and they asked me some questions that I could of not answered. I was only an intern at Northwest Airlines in Spring 2008 when I was interviewing. I never had to make decisions as a manager. Now looking at the interview at Mesaba, it took 45 minutes instead of 20 minutes.I stumbled quite a bit, because I had no way to prepare for them. This was because I had no experience as a manager, and I never had to solve technical office problems as a manager. This is like expecting some one to be a manager with no job experience. This has made me very nervous, and the interviewers added more to my anxiety. The interviewers were unforgiving, unfriendly, hard to understand, unprofessioanl, which tells so much about Mesaba. I also found out that they train their pilots next door at PAN-AM academy because Mesaba cannot afford their own simulators. Nice Building, but with the way my interview experience was, this is the impression on how they treat their employees. I'll bet you that they don't treat their Pilots and their Flight Attendants nice. I'll also bet you that the Pilot and FA interviews are just as bad.
