Interview experience:

This is a typical open house for flight attendants. You'll start out with filling out paperwork, a prelimenary application. Then a few speakers will talk about the company, benefits, bases, pay. A test will be takin, these tests are very easy math questions, word association all are timed. After the test you'll be asked to come to the front and talk about yourself and why you want to work for Airtran as a f/a. Also why is the most important aspect of being a flight attendant. They give you 2 mins, DON'T ramble on about you life story and how much you like to fly.... Emphasize on safety and team work. After two days I was called in for a second interview, I filled out a complete application for the background check. There were two interviewers that took turns asking questions 1. Why do you want to work for us? 2. Tell me when you had a confrontation with a co-worker and how did you handle it. 3. What kind of person do you like to work with. 4. Tell me about yourself and your past experiences? 6. Why did you leave your last employer? 7. What are your strengths? 8. What are your weaknesses? 9. Tell me about an experience that makes you qualified for this job. 10.How do you work under pressure? 11. Do you have any questions? After the interview i was told I would be contacted in 1 week. From experience I knew then I wasnt selected for the positon. If you are not offered the JOB at that time, it doesnt look good. I was a recruiter for 3 yrs and I know the process. Good Luck !
