Interview experience:
Applied in December 2012. Got an email in March 2013 inviting me for a F2F Open House BY INVITATION ONLY in Houston. Got an email confirming RSVP to Open House. Had to pay for my own flight and hotel. Stayed in hotel by the airport. We were checked in with our two forms of government issue ID. Make SURE you have the proper ID or you will be turned away. They have a checklist of attendees. In the beginning we were in a big room. Two recruiters discussed the company and showed us a powerpoint while the other recruiters sat in the back of the room and watched. They give you the opportunity to leave if you decide that being a flight attendant isn't going to work for you at that time. There were about 25-30 of us there, many who actually lived in Houston. We were then called to the front of the classroom where we introduced ourselves, told an interesting fact about ourselves and then answered a scenario question. My question was "You are the F/A and a pax gets sick during the flight. How would you handle?" We were then brought to the lunchroom to wait until we were called for our interview. I waited about two hours. Make sure you bring a snack or money to purchase food/drink out of the vending machine. I interviewed with two recruiters in a private room. They make it very relaxed and an easy interview. They asked Why do you want to be a F/A?, Why do you want to work for EJ?, What is one of your weaknesses?, What can you bring to this company that makes you stand out amongs the other candidates? I was offered a CJO during the interview. We were then brought to a room where they did fingerprints and we filled out paperwork. We were then sent to the airport to United health services to do a urine drug screen. The recruiters are very kind and friendly and make the interview process a non-intimidating one.
