Interview experience:

Frontier held 2 Open Houses in March 2004, both sessions hosted 500 people each. Flight Attendants talk about Frontier, the benefits, routes etc. You are then given a test which is multiple choice mainly customer service. While the test is being graded, the Flight Attendant Manager talks again about Frontier and what a wonderful place it is to work. She describes the duty day, uniforms, talks about cities they fly to and just makes you want to work for them. In the meantime the results from the tests are posted on the wall, if you passed your name was listed alphbetically and you are assigned a room to go to for a group session. We then broke for lunch. In the group session of about 40 people you are asked to stand in front of the room and say why you want to work for Frontier. It is a good idea to have a written recommendation from someone working for Frontier when you attend the Open House, and this would be the time to turn it in. There are two FA's writing down comments and after everyone has spoken they answer questions and again make you want to work for Frontier. They told us they would in touch with us in about 2 weeks. They contacted me 4 weeks later and asked me to attend a group interview. I attended the interview with four other applicants, varying in age and race. It is recommended that you dress very profession for all of their interviews. The panel consisted of 3 Frontier Employees, with only only person asking the questions. You were again asked why you wanted to work for Frontier. You were asked what famous person was most like you. What would you do if you saw someone stealing, a customer services experience that showed you in a good light, what would you do if another FA did not want to serve the passengers when you were on a flight, three words to desribe a good FA and 3 to describe a bad one, a safety question, how would you handle a situation if another FA was being given a hard time by a passenger. At the end of the interview we were all asked to tell them something that we wanted them to know about us. Overall the experience was good I was not hired but I passed along my experience to several people who had a later interview and they were all hired. I think the answer is to be prepared and to impress them with your customer service skills and also show them that you are a team player with Frontiers best interest being your first priority.
