Interview experience:

Attended an open house in White Planes, New York. There was a very small group of 8 of us. People need to understand when you come to an open house or an interview to dress for success. I was so taken back at how some people showed up. Running suits, tennis shoes etc etc. Whew. The orientation begins at 10:00 AM, You will be given an information package, and application to fill out, and then recruiter goes over everything that you would want to know about starting pay, which is 18.12 per block hour, for the 1st 6 months, and the up to 19.47 after that. Per-diem is 1.60 hr for domestic and 2.00 per hour international. Training is 3 weeks long, the first week the company does NOT provide a hotel, you are responsable to get to class. The second week of training is very "intense" and the company will give you a hotel, for that one week only, to help you get through it, the 3rd week is spent in Atlanta for cabin/door training at the Delta Training Center. Training is paid at a rate of 67hrs as if you had a schedule for the 3 weeks. At the end of the company information session, the recruiter will open the floor for questions. No one had any. At that time she said that we would come out into the hall one by one and she would go over our applications. I was the first out, and she was very pleasent, asked about my past jobs, and advised me that I would either get a phone call, or a letter advising me of my status. That they were still interviewing for 2 classes in May. Very quick interview. Was out of there in 1 hour and 20 mins, from start to finish. If you are interested in seeing the world and being to places you have never heard of then try this airline. It is not like a scheduled airline. Good Luck.
