FREE World Airways Flight Attendant Interview Information and Gouge
Interview experience:
First things first for accuracy....the date was 12/18/03:there were 0 weeks to being called since I was not selected at the open house there was no feedback from the airline: and also 0 weeks for weeks after interview call: no training date obviously. The open house was held at The Crown Plaza Hotel near the ATL airport. It started promptly at 9am, and doors were closed. We signed a log sheet, and put on a tag which had the number which they would keep track of us by. The first hour or so was an introduction to the airline and what to expect out on the line flying. Second, we were given a sheet which had 3 or 4 choices of announcements to read. We then went in front of the panel(3 or 4 flight attendants and 2 h/r people)and the group of hopefuls and introduced ourselves. The panel then asked you to either read one of the announcements or tell them something interesting about yourself. We then had a 20-30 min break while they selected their choices. I was one of the selected ones of the first round. We then broke for lunch and were told that one on one interviews would happen after we returned. After all the interviews were completed (this was like 90 min later), they made their choices for employment, and those people's name and number were called. If you didn't hear your name and number you were thanked and excused. I left at around 430pm, so plan on being there a while. If selected, even longer....GOOD LUCK!!to get the remaining 4 gouges on World Airways.
