Interview experience:
Did the online asessment & phone interview where they ask the general questions. Got invited to Atlanta the next week for the final interview. Got there on time along with other candidates from the hotel. Signed in then went to the building next door where they took the copies of our passports and driver's licenses. Make sure you have a copy of your passport AND driver's license (they neglect to tell you to bring a copy of the license - only the passport). There were about twenty recruiters greeting in the "lounge" area that looked like IKEA erupted in it. Sat around and chatted with other candidates while being watched like a HAWK by the recruiters. They then take you in to a room to watch a video about Delta, then talk a bit about the company. Everyone has to stand up and tell their names, where from, why they want to be a FA with Delta and what other languages they speak. They then split you into three groups - A, B & C. One group goes to do the reach test, seatbelt assessment, they take two pictures of you - one of your head and one of your body (is that legal?!!) and tell you about the application/make sure you have it filled out correctly. The next group has one-one interviews. The next group goes in the room where we started and listens to one of the recruiters talk about reserve/pay/bases/etc. and she will answer all questions (with attitude). Once one group is done with a task you go to the next, etc... Questions from the one-one are the typical situation related questions so be prepared - there are six of them. Then they give you a scenario and you have to make a P.A. regarding the situation. Then you go back into that room again where they call off the names of the people that will stay and are hired. Then they flat out lie to the rest of the people by telling them that they are still in the running for the job but just are not getting an offer that day. I had a good opinion about them until they did that. Don't lie - everyone in the room is an adult and knows the truth. As far as how to dress - don't worry about having your hair back - they are not looking for the stereotypical, polished flight attendant. It came down to the people hired were all young and most had a second language.
