Interview experience:
I had a great experience at my Skywest interview. I felt like the Recruiters were professional, friendly and really cared about the people there. I have a few friends who have attended the Skywest interviews and they all had similar experiences to mine. I made sure I went to the interview early since being on time is huge for Flight Attendants. I checked in with the Recruiters and they asked if I applied online at thier website and for a copy of my resume. I could not believe some people didn't bring resumes...this is a job interview people!! We started right on time and they gave us a presentation about the job. They had a question and answer session at the end and although many of the questions asked were things the recruiter had already covered she still answered the questions and was totally nice about it. There was about five people who left after the Skywest presentation and about 20 people stayed. The recruiters had each of us stand up in front of everyone and tell why we would be good Flight Attendants. When everyone was done they gave each one of us an interview. A lot of people were suprised at that since airlines seem to only interview a few of the people that apply. It took a while for all of us to get our interview but we didn't mind waiting since we were all happy we got the opportunity. During the interview they ask basic interview questions and verify that you have your passport since you must have it before you can attend flight attendant training.I got an email about one week after my interview telling me that I was selected to attend training and I am so excited!!! Skywest is an awesome company and everyone in my group commented about how nice the recruiters were.I am guessing that the last two people who wrote comments on here before me were not hired and were being vindictive with thier feedback about Skywest. So for those of you who want to apply at Skywest don't let them scare you off!!
