Flight Attending is a great career to have , there are many ups and downs – literally – but mostly ups! With so many great reasons to being a Flight Attendant, we could go on all day! If you are looking to change careers or just love your job as a FA you will appreciate this list! Here are just a few reasons why this career is awesome!

1. Pick when you work – Thats right! Not joking! You can pick what days of the week you work! Hate Monday’s? No problem, you don’t have to work them if you don’t want to! Personally favorite days to work are Wednesdays – Saturdays always have been! You can’t have those hours with an office job! It’s usually 9-5 don’t like it don’t care! The schedule flexibility is definitely a bonus!

2. The cabin crew – There are some amazing people you meet while working! Working as a FA you become a family with you fellow FA’s and really bond. Many friendships have formed in the air while working! If you like privacy and don’t like to chit chat this is NOT the career for you! The cabin crew you work with makes the difference on how much you love your job! Feeling like a family with your crew is the best thing possible and happens a lot, which makes going to work not seem like work at all!

3. Oh the things you will see – Who doesn’t like to travel? Okay maybe some people don’t but who wouldn’t want to see the country/world for free! Everyday is a new experience, meeting new people and trying new things! It may be a schedule but it is also very freeing to explore a city for a day by yourself! While you family or friends are in their office everyday knowing exactly how their day will go you might get a flight to Hawaii and then to Texas the next day! It’s always a new experience which is why being a FA never gets old or boring! And when not working you get free travel and can explore some more places!
