Hotel Comments: Should have free internet now can't remember if it is wired or wireless. Good location, old but clean rooms.

Hotel Comments: Hotel is nice, room is average. Location is the best part, right by "downtown" and the water.
Dining Comments: A bunch right down the street.
Entertainment Comments: Signal Hill. Nice trails up the hill to some historic stuff and a great view of the water and the town. Public ice skating at the arena down the road. Historic buildings and churches.
Hotel Comments: I start the rating at 5, then I add or subtract points with each good or bad comment. This hotel gets a 4.
+ Great location and it is a nice hotel. Same company runs this as the one that runs the Raffles hotel brand, The Plaza hotel in NYC, etc.
+ Very large rooms with a TV, couch, etc.
- Extremely expensive internet.
- No free breakfast.
- My wakeup call never happened. Good thing I set my own alarm clocks.

Hotel Comments: Great location right downtown overlooking the harbour. Hotel has a full bar with food menu resonably priced. Also a restaurant but I did not eat there. $14 (CD) for internet in the lobby. Clean rooms and a comfortable bed. Short trip from the airport via taxi.
Dining Comments: Lots of diners taverns and restaurants down the street including a KFC and a mini-mart.
Entertainment Comments: Whale watching.
