Hotel Comments: This is a sad sight... A crapy MOTEL 15 min away. There's no elevator... The TV has about as much static on the 10 channels it get as a portable tv...

The bed is ok, pillows are sub par.. since all the rooms have door to outside, it's very sticky in the rooms.
Breakfast is served to 0900, but has veeerry limmited selection.
STAY AWAY!!!!

Hotel Comments: Standard "outdoor" La Quinta. Nothing special about the place.
Dining Comments: There are a few places within walking distance but be sure to yield to vehicles. Many of the drivers are our friends just south of the border and don't think much of lowly pedestrians.
The hotel has free breakfast in the morning.
Entertainment Comments: Go to HEB (grocery store, located next door), get some "beverages" and snacks, and then hang out at the pool until the imaginary 12-hour bell rings.
You can also play cockroach wrangler in your room, too.
Hotel Comments: My first reaction upon seeing this hotel? "Oh hell no..."
No elevator. Bugs in the rooms. Doors on the outside of the hotel. Don't walk under any trees in HRL. They are filled with 1000 birds and you might get crapped on like our FA did.
Dining Comments: Dennys & HEB (buy something pre-made)
Entertainment Comments: Make mental notes to self: "Never come to HRL again!"
