Hotel Comments: The HI has been doing some renovations and the place is at least as nice as the average overnight. The beds and linens are very comfortable. Same smallish rooms, with the thin walls, but they are trying.

Dining Comments: Hotel restaurant is very good, the French Dip sandwich was excellent and reasonably priced. Good service too. The 24-hour deli in the lobby is great for a grab and go salad or sandwich.

Entertainment Comments: If you're here, something went wrong, and you probably have an early show.

Hotel Comments: Complete dump, the shuttle is a multi-hotel bus, the rooms smell and look like crap, and the front desk people have no idea what they're doing. Make sure you ask for a prison view room though, so you can watch the prisoners exercise.

Dining Comments: Crappy hotel restaurant, or the airport.

Entertainment Comments: Watch the basketball game through the barb-wire fence.

November 09, 2007
Hotel Comments: Hotel rooms are gross. Beds are hard. At least it's not the HoJo.

Dining Comments: In the hotel.

Entertainment Comments: Nothing nearby.

Hotel Comments: hotel itself not too bad for a holiday inn

Dining Comments: hotel is only thing around, unless you go back to airport

Entertainment Comments: to get downtown, we took hotel shuttle to term A, then get on bus 62 to newark penn, then get on path train to manhattan, 2.75 each way, took about an hour and a half to get downtown, but beat paying for the airtrain
