Interview experience:

Sent in resume to Chautauqua and heard back within one week. They are a commuter currently flying for US Airways and TWA/American with America West Service top start soon. Current President is Bryan Bedford , (X Pres from Messaba, who built messaba). Company has almost doubled in 3 years. They are flying EMB145 and Saab 340's, (140's are coming later this year for American) with almost 500 pilots with another 100 to hire this year. Bases are in PIT, STL, LGA, FWA, PHL, CMH, IND and possibly BOS on the way. Headquarters is in IND. Arrived in IND the night before. I had heard that Chautauqua was not doing SIM rides anymore, so I didn't worry about it. WRONG... Most applicates stayed at the Ramada at the airport. It was $38.00 for applicants, not the best place to stay in the world but it was cheap. Pretty old and dirty...... Chief pilot and Asst Chief were not doing interviews anymore, Just HR pilot recruiter Rosa Mosely and some Saab Captain who has only been with the company 2 years. Interview started at 9:00 AM, with most candidates arrivin
