Interview experience:
As stated before, all other gouges are right on. Flew in the night before stayed at Euless La Quinta. Took the 7:30 am shuttle to AMR Headquarters where, we were met by an EMB Captain. DO NOT BE LATE!! They will not let you participate if you are even one minute late!!!! He took us to the back room and discussed the company benefits, hiring projections, fleet size/type, and upgrade times. We took the 50-question test from the ATP written. Just like before, no graphs or refer to figures. Just study the ATP manuals, King, Gliem, ASA, and you’ll do fine. Everybody in our group passed this portion. There are five versions of the test so don’t take the following questions as the gospel. One version included questions like: RVR value translation, airspace (Inner radius of Class C), holding question, TAF interpretation, embedded T-storms, Clouds associated with a jet stream, Wind shear alert on the ground, IFR Currency requirements, Max range question, What purpose does ground spoilers provide, Dutch roll, and much, much more.
