Interview experience:
No, those dates aren't wrong. I'm a former Laker and just want to pass along some information that might be helpful to some of you who have interviews coming up. Aaron Rex is the chief pilot. He's a great guy. He was put in about a month before I left, and my friends who are still there are saying he's doing a really good job as chief pilot. Lakes is a PIC factory. They know nobody wants to stay there very long, and that's reflected in the low pay. When they ask you where you see yourself in 5 years, "Be-1900 Captain at Lakes" is the wrong answer. The following is more directed to people after they get the job: The tales of drinking from a firehose are absolutely true. Training is brutal for those of you coming from a Part 91 background. I recommend you do ever
