Interview experience:
The gouges were all pretty dead on... there really were no surprises during the interview. Started the day with the sim. 20-minute video, then a brief lecture. The sim instructor looked at my most recent logbook (not all 3), and asked about my ATP checkride. Then asked if I had any questions about the sim or the profile (nope). We entered the sim, and got things set up. Dep 24R LAX, climb maintain 4000. Turn right to 180. Intercept the SLI 250 inbound I asked him to tune and identify, and he said he did, but the DME was increasing, so I had him recheck-- he hadn't set the VOR correctly. After retuning, I saw we had crossed, so turned back to intercept (talking the whole time as though he were ATC). HClick here to view all 327 interviews for American Eagle
