Hello Fellow Job Seekers, This web site was extremely helpful and accurate, so I feel obligated to write my experience about my interview with American Eagle. The day will be very long if you make it to the simulator so make sure you get plenty of rest the day before. The people at American Eagle are great and very professional and will do whatever they can to make you feel relaxed. The interview is composed of 3 parts, 1st part is tech., 2nd part is human resource and the 3rd part if you pass the 1st two part is the simulator ride in a 707 (way cool if you have never been in a full motion simulator). Interviewers: DJ - Likes to have fun and very easy going. Gregg - Layed back, warm personality Jason - Does not smile. Phil (sim evaluator) - Very relaxed, but has his hands full trying to get everyone evaluated. You need his blessing to get the job. Tech. Interview: 1. I had to read a Metar, some had to read both a Metar and Taf. 2. Know a Jepp enroute chart backwards and forward. 3. Read the 154 page Jepp intro. (backwards and forwards) 4.
