Interview experience:

What a great experience. They really do a first class job. Faxed in resume late September. Called for an October 4th interview. Cancelled and rescheduled for December 5th. Stayed at the Holiday Inn. Great place. $59.00 and 2 free cocktails if you sign up for Piority Membership. 7:45 van to the offices. Bring your luggage if you are flying out that afternoon. 8:15 the meeting starts. 15 folks interviewed. 12 ex-Midway and 3 Comair Aviation Academy CFIs. Breakfast was laid out on the table. Coffee, juices, bagels, doughnuts. They bring ya lunch as well, but bring some mints. The potato salad was heavy on the onions. Its a random order of events, but you get interviewed, apptitude testing and cog testing. From Bill the head of pilot selection. 36 new aircraft in 2002. 500 pilots to be hired. 6-8 months on reserve. Upgrade in 18-24 months if you have at least 3000TT and 500 with the company. MCO may close as a base. New base may be DFW. They are overlapping Comair, ASA, ACA, and Skywest. S3 pass privileges after 30 days is Delta system wide.
