FREE airline interview information for SkyWest Airlines
Interview experience:
I have had three other airline interviews in the last year, and this was by far the most professional. The experience definitely makes me want to work for SkyWest. The interview has 3 parts to it: 1. Written tests: 50 question ATP and 10 Question Mech. aptitude. 2. Face to Face: HR and Captain with tech Questions. 3. Sim eval: Done by a SkyWest Captain. Written tests: This was first and you need a 70% to go on, but it was not clear if a better score helps, all though I would assume it does. The 50 question ATP is from the ATP Questions and I do not remember any figures, Weight and balance, or performance questions being on there. The 10 question mechanical aptitude is not real hard, but I would look at the Officer Canidate Test book or Air Inc. "Airline Pilot: test kit" book before you take it. Some questions are the same and others will help you through. Face to Face: This was very similar to other interviews. The HR portion was first while the Captain looked through my logbooks. I felt like they just wanted to hear me talk to see if I was the kind of person they would want toClick here to view all 229 interviews for SkyWest Airlines
