Interview experience:
1st day CRJ sim, went well. Second day finger prints, whiz quiz, 30? test and one-on-one interview. There are some very identifiable reasons why I may not have been hired after this interview. I was not adequately prepared for the 30 questions test, systems knowledge of the plane I currently fly or Jepp plates. "Live by the gouge, die by the gouge." The gouge alone will not cover it. You just need to study, especially those 121 guys who may not have been in the books lately. Some of the questions I have listed the obvious answer choice, but some Q's I am simply showing you the choices you will have to select from. Check them out, but don't stop there! 1)How do you procede with lost comms (WRT/ altitude and clearance limit)? 2)Where would you find "---stratus" clouds (some cloud type that contained the word stratus that I'd never heard of...high, medium, low)? 3)What are the VOR Service Volume types (ans. Terminal, Low-alt, high-alt)? 4)Hold entry appropriate when on the 220-
