Interview experience:

The gouges below are really accurate. I really have only two things to add, but I'll also include some observations. I went to one of the group interviews in the NW last month. After a brief HR interview with Camille, I was asked to schedule my interview in SLC. The Candlewood hotel was full (apparently with people in SkyWest classes), but the Comfort Suites next door gave me a room for $38 with the invitation letter from SkyWest as proof of the interview. Make sure to arrange for a ride to SkyWest - their facility is on the opposite side of the airport and basically out in the boonies. There were 8 other guys - a handful of CFIs, two 121 (American Eagle and Independence Air) and a retiring military guy. A nice group - would have enjoyed working with any of them.
