FREE airline interview information for ExpressJet
Interview experience:
First of all, I would like to thank all of you contributors who posted your own interview experiences. I went the long way and created a gouge from the past 12 months of interviews posted in here to help me study for the ExpressJet interview. Call me excessive - I know. It worked and that's all that matters. We had 13 show up for the morning interview session and one guy right out of the gate was eliminated when he did not have a 1st class medical within the last 6 months. Ms. Daniels wanted it to be known that your paperwork is a big part of the interview process and if you don't come prepared - you will be shown the door. Our class had a good mix of CFI's, 121, and 135 pilots. Of course, out of the 12 pilots remaining to interview, I was the last one called. So imagine the 10 minutes I had to wait after each person was called. Fun to say the least. We had 3 rooms to endure. The first room consisted of questions on jepp plates and high altitude charts. I was asked questions about mea, moca, grid mora (green/red), the changeover point symbol on a high altitude chart (careful it looks like a "T" with the mileage on each side of it), and the total mileage symbol between navaids.
