Interview experience:
I faxed my resume and did the online application on Thursday. The next day I mailed in my resume with a cover letter. To my surprise, I received a call from Rosa the next Tuesday and my interview was scheduled for nine days from then. I stayed in the Holiday-Inn Select (about 15 miles from the airport) $39 for the night and Chautauqua’s headquarters are right across the street. The shuttle van took us over to Chautauqua for a 9 a.m. show. Both the pilots and the flight attendants congregated in a small, and very warm, classroom for a short introductory video on the company (a 30th anniversary tribute). Following the video we split into separate groups. There were 6 pilots interviewing: 3 freight dogs (including myself), 2 135 charters pilots, and a CFI. Rosa then came in and gave us a short introduction on the company and answered any questions we had. Next came the 25-question test. It isn’t too bad. I know I missed 2. RVR 1600 converts to 1/4sm vis and DME can be substituted for both OM and MM????.
