Interview experience:
I arrived at Airnet a day before my interview to do the simulator prep. I can not stress enough how important it is to do this. One hour in the simulator will only cost you 60 dollars and it will put you at ease!! They were harder on me in the prep than they were during the interview. Even if you have a Frasca elsewhere still do this because it helps calm your nerves there. The day of the interview we all arrived and waited in the lobby. 7 of us to be exact. We were greeted by Bill White and Craig Washka. After handshakes, Bill guided us throughout the facility to show us the works. Maintenance is a good enough reason alone to work at Airnet. They have over 15 million dollars in parts in stock right there just in case something breaks, because they cant wait for things to be ordered. Mechanics also have the ability to ground airplanes, I beleive Bill said that sometimes the mechanics will walk around your plane during your stop and do a mechanic preflight to see if anything is wrong.
