Interview experience:

Well here goes my Complete experience with Colgan Air over my 2-day interview. This should really help you guys out because this site defiantly helped me. First I went to Flight safety at LGA to fly the Beech 1900C. They were only doing sim rides that day B/C everybody from Colgan was stuck in D.C due to weather the night before except one sim instructor. After a lot of waiting it was my turn in groups of 3, sometimes 2. The same profile as the other gouges were true. My best advice is to just practice MS 2004 flight sim a lot. This I found help my scan speed up and I was able memorize the ILS 22 into LGA to help any confusion later on. In my opinion the real sim flys way more stable and is easier to fly than the relatively cheezzy MS 2004. Get Good on 2004 and you should fair well on the real sim. USE THE MAN NEXT TO YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU CANT DO!! Frequency’s, working the radios, putting flaps and gear down etc! Keep those eyes on the six pack it will help prevent you from straying away from where you should be. Believe it or not I saw the first guy looking around alot? dont know if he was maybe watching out for birds but he busted the sim bad. haha.
