Interview experience:
I'll just start by saying that overall, the experience was great. The people at CommutAir are a laid-back bunch. The interviewers are just regular people who are only interested in learning more about you. They're not there to play mind games at all.
4/26/01 -1 other applicant and I departed Philadelphia on a CommutAir non-rev pass (actually on CoEx.) Flew from PHL to Newark to Burlington, VT and finally to Plattsburgh on a CommutAir 1900. (The BTV to PLB leg is about 8 to 10 minutes long!!!)
- Arrived at company HQ via company van. After a brief wait, I was introduced to Amy, HR rep. Very nice girl. Filled out some typical HR paperwork and was given a short knowledge test. Test was based on some weather stuff, (i.e. METAR/TAFs, what phenomenon indicates beginning of mature stage of T-Storm) some aerodynamics, some instruments, etc. I prepped using the instrument oral exam guide and it seemed to work out pretty w
