ASA Interview Day one of two meet at 1300 at Flight Safety. First thing is a technical interview one on one. The evaluator ask question from a note book they are as follows: What makes an airplane stall? What is a micro burst? Define severe Icing. Define critical phase of flight. What is the speed limit in class B airspace? Under Class B? VFR clouds and vis in Class B? Describe the emergency gear extension in your A/C. Describe the type of engines on your A/C. On a course of 0-179 starting at FL290 what FL are available. Describe an emergency you have been involved. What makes an engine Critical? And describe those factors. What effects Vmc? Descent from FL 210 to 11000 @ 1000fpm flying 210kts with 30kt tailwind. Navigating around severe thunderstorms you should deviate how far and what side? BR on a METAR?
