Interview experience:
Arrived in STL space available on 12/11 for a 12/12 interview. The letter that was recieved beforehand recomended the Winngate - definitely a great choice! Ask for the Trans-States rate when making your reservation. Brand new hotel, HUGE rooms, and a free shuttle in the morning to the training center. I grabbed a 730 shuttle departure from the hotel for a 900a interview. ALWAYS good to get there early as you can start early. It\'s a 20 minute van ride to the traning center. The morning driver should know where it is. Arrived by 8a at the traning center and were met by Kathy who is EXTRMELY nice, helpful, and accomodating. She collected our paperwork and led us upstairs to take the ATP written test. As stated before, it hasn\'t changed much it looks like in almost a year. My test had a 01/16/2006 revision. There are a couple different versions so don\'t even think about cheating. There were 50 questions, all multiple choce. I\'ll post the ones I can remember, and they\'re not word for word, just the subject and what I can remember about it,and in no particular order: 1)Vortex Generators- what do they do 2) How many hours can a pilot be scheduled in 30 calendar days? 3)You see ALSF-I approach lights, what does this allowClick here to view all 149 interviews for Trans States Airlines
