Interview experience:
Alright, so I finally get to write one of these for others. First off, thank you to all who have submitted previous gauges. They were invaluable to the interview process. Now to the gauge: I'm going to bypass all of the details of hotel, company overview, etc. I'll start with the interview itself. I will take the time to re-emphasize the professionalism, and outstanding facilities you'll find at Comair. One captain, and one HR rep, both of whom were extremely personable, and friendly. They just want to get a feel for you, especially the HR rep. My advice for the HR portion of the interview is to be yourself, and have a personality! If you're a boring, generally not-fun guy, fake it. Show some enthusiasm, with a smile of excitement plastered all over your face throughout. Use common sense, and strive to maintain a professional attitude, while still allowing your personality to shine through. The specific HR questions were first related to work history. They want to make sure that you left your previous employer/s on good terms. Other than that, it was all about 1)Why Comair? 2) Why aviation? 3) Why you over the other candidates? 4) What is one word your friends would use to describe you? 5) Drunk captai
