Interview experience:
I had previous round dial experience but it had been a few years. The engines spool very slowly in the MD80 sim. Martin teaches you all the tricks you need to fly the sim well during your sim evaluation. The interview was in Houston. Do not stay at the Airport Inn (formerly the Wingate). They quoted me a $50/night rate over the phone and then changed it to $80/night once I arrived. I am guessing it was due to the ice storm and they wanted to charge more for the room since they were sold out. I flew the sim eval first. Both gentleman were
