Interview experience:
Karen called the week before and we discussed my flight time, experience, what is going on at Flex, looking at four year upgrades, bases, report times, pay, benefits, etc. We then scheduled an interview the following week. Flex put me up in the Verizon center. They didn\'t airline me in because I was already going to be in town looking at homes. We showed at 0800 at Bombardier DFW (attached to Simuflite) and met Karen in the 3rd floor coffee room. The CP was running late (traffic) so we sat down and BS\'d a little. I was taken first into the sim (LR31) with an ex-UAL Airbus guy. They have all the numbers pulled, the plane is running, and all you have to do is a generic five item taxi and before takeoff checklist. They aren\'t looking to see if you know the Lear. They want to see you work with the other pilot. The takeoff clearance was runway heading to 3000. You are given general power settings so don\'t worry about that stuff. All they are looking for is basic instruement flying. You will be doing all of this raw data. After the takeoff we did a couple of turns to headings and climb to 5000. No hold in ours. We then descended and were vectored for the 13L ILS @ DAL. Shot the ILS raw data, WX is 400 and 2. Land, reset andClick here to view all 41 interviews for Flexjet
