Interview experience:

They told me over the phone the interview would be with a pilot and a human resources person. I was to allow about three hours for it and the interview would consist of personal questions and instrument technical questions, and that there might be a sim, depending if it was available or what they decided. An HR person was waiting outside the conference room to collect my paperwork, log books, check my photo ID, and take my picture. At 11:00 Jeff Pomeroy, the chief pilot came out and introduced himself to me and another guy. He collected our logbooks and paperwork and said he would be back. A few minutes after that Jeff Pomeroy came out and got me. In the conference room they had tables in three different corners with two people each and one interviewee. We couldn’t see each other because they had us face towards the corner. It was a very relaxed atmosphere. I interviewed with the chief pilot and a training captain (no HR). Jeff explained that he was going to go over my application with me and then they would ask me some questions. On the application it asked if I knew anybody that worked at Lakes, I put 3 people and he asked me if they knew I was interviewing and wanted to know what they told me about the company. Th
