Interview experience:

Went to Dubai in early July for the Emirates interview. Emirates bought my ticket from my home city (Atlanta) to JFK then flew Emirates to Dubai. The ticket is economy class upgradeable to Business. I got business class there and back. Business on Emirates is better than any American airline, the seats lay all the way back, the TV screen is a 17 inch monitor, and they give you noise canceling headsets to use. Once you arrive in Dubai someone meets you and takes you through customs. The girl that met me was wearing a yellow jacket, it looked like some kind of uniform, and she was standing near an electronic sign that had my name on it. They will help you find your hotel van driver and he takes you to the hotel. I stayed in the majestic hotel. Once you arrive there they give you a packet from Emirates which contains some information on the weeks events and some forms to fill out with updated times and references. The hotel will give you a voucher to eat each night in the hotel retaurant. The next morning leave between 745 and 800 by taxi to the Emirates headquaters, taxi are very inexpensive.
