Interview experience:

I had someone walk in my application in June, but I re-faxed my resume after I hit 250 MEL & had my 135 check ride. I got the call from Kim Jennings 2 days later to set up an interview for the following week. I live in the DC metro area on the Maryland side, so I flew a school plane over (I currently fly PT for a 135 charter company, PT flight instructing & PT for the University of Maryland.) & had the FBO at Manassas drive me over to Colgan. I don’t know if that made a difference, but by flying over I had the chance to meet some other maintenance and office staff, flight crew and flight attendants. My interview was at 9am & there was only 1 other candidate there at that same time. Shortly after 9am, Kim took us into one of their classrooms & went over all the detail about the company, employment, benefits, etc. Kim has been with the company for over 16 years & has done a lot of different positions with Colgan & it was pretty obvious how much pride she has
