Interviewed with 5 other people that day. Guy that interviewed me was new and has only been doing this for 2-3 months. Super nice. TECHNICAL/HR: Explain lift, electrical system on aircraft I've flown (Seminole) I started explaining about how many buses there are and he would ask questions like, what's a BUS, or when I answered that the alternator produces AC but is immediately converted to DC by 6 rectifiers in the alternator housing, he asked what is AC? What's DC and the difference between the two. Point being he tried to stomp me on things I take for granted and didn't readily have a definition for, a dozen questions on the IFR low-enroute chart, and some on the airport diagram chart.
