Actual Pilot Interview Experience for Mesa

First of all a big THANK YOU!! to all of whom posted previously. That was a huge help to be ready for the interview. I've applied and got a email reply in 2 days. Called & confirmed Feb. 13th, out of 3 other dates. Flew stand by to PHX Feb. 12th. Stayed in Sleep Inn. it was lot cheaper & clean. Make sure to schedule your van ride to the interview & wake up call when you first check in. If drain pipe noise keeps you up, just walk over to the sink & pull up the drain plug handle. That will stop the noise. There are no restaurant to eat in at Sleep Inn. I walked to the Hilton next door to get a bite to eat. Hilton has a decent restaurant downstairs. I woke up next day & had free breakfast at 6 A.M. Got ready & took the shuttle to Radisson for our interview. We arrived around 7:45. Total of 18 candidates. 3 guys were 40 plus age. Rest of us under 30's. Mostly under 600 hrs. of flight time. At 8:00 A.M we were called in to submit all our paperworks & take the 50 question ATP written. Written test have CHANGED since last gouge been posted. I think written will change every month. Out of 18 candidates, 4 failed the written & asked to leave. To pass, 80% a must.
