Interview experience:
The gouge from this website was, for the most part, accurate. It is difficult to not be impressed with this company on the morning if your interview. Like most candidates I stayed at the Holiday Inn on Mineola Pike. I went to the lobby early the next morning and found a group of blue-suits/red ties standing around the free coffee. After a few introductions it was easy to be intimidated by the vast experience offered by the pilots who I would be interviewing with. There were several who were furloughed from major airlines (UAL, TWA, USAir) quite a few from regional airlines including Captains from CCair, and Allegheny, and first officers from PSA, Mesaba, and Corporate Express. There were a few military pilots including F15 pilots, and Apache helicopter pilots. There were also a half-dozen Comair Academy Graduates.
