Actual Pilot Interview Experience for CommutAir

To start off, I unfortunately have to say this interview experience was rather on the unprofessional side, expensive, and very time consuming to me (5 days of travel for 4 hours at their HQ). Commutair picked a terrible week to interview due to Passover, Easter, and NY spring break travel and they did not take into consideration or show any care that their non-rev passes with no positive spacing mean nothing when all Continental flights were overbooked by 10-20 rev pax. At least three of the candidates, including myself, were left stranded at airports and had to take matters into our own hands. I was going to be stranded at EWR from Wed AM until at least Mon (Happy Easter) before being able to get on a flight home. Commutair was not willing to accommodate me in any way; by putting me up in a hotel, issuing a positive space ticket, or helping out at least some of the costs for the cheapest flight home. Actually for 45 minutes I had a positive space ticket issued on a Continental flight a few days ahead that quickly opened up and closed, but only because they thought I was an employee.
