FREE airline interview information for American Eagle
Interview experience:
The day started off at 7:30am at Eagle headquarters in Dallas. There were 10 people in the interview group. We were lead into a room where a company briefing was given and a briefing on what to expect for the day which would be a Tech. interview, an HR interview then if successful, a flight in the Boeing 707 simulator. We were asked to introduce ourselves then were given paperwork to fill out. While we were doing that, we were called out one at at time for our Technical interview. The Technical interview is very straight forward. Plain and simple, if you know your stuff, you'll do fine. I was asked to brief an approach into Baltimore, asked about MSA ring, definition of a Final Approach Fix, alternate mins, FAR 91.175, then asked a few questions about taxi instructions. Can you cross an active runway if you aren't told to hold short, etc. Then was asked about takeoff mins and to read the stipulations on the special take off mins, etc. After that I was asked a few questions on the low alt. enroute chart.
